Obama Run 2024 was one of my favorite games. It was an update to the popular meme game Obama Run. It added finer controls, power-ups such as a shield and boost, and mini-Obamas that followed the player when going through barriers and increased your score. The maps and skins received an upgrade with a better art style and skins such as Donald Trump and shirtless Putin.

It featured a Lebonbon mode, featuring Lebron James, that had a different feel to the main game. I unlocked everything in the game and showed it to all my friends. All memes aside, I thought it was a legitimately fun game to play and had a great feel.

However, while Obama Run 2 and Obama 2024 were popular in their own right, the most popular update was the original of the game. Thus, to appeal to the least common denominator, the developer changed the game back to its original state. While I am all for rereleasing the original version of the game, this came at the price of losing Obama Run 2024. While I get that it is the OG, Obama Run Legacy is strictly inferior as a game to Obama Run 2024, and even arguably as a meme. It was additionally disrespectful since I lost all the skins, maps, and modes I had unlocked due to assets being different. This is also annoying since a later update to 2024 had Obama Run OG as a separate mode. Yet they completely got rid of it anyway. I thus request they rerelease Obama Run 2024 as a separate app to appease both those who like the original game and those who prefer the refined experience of 2024. I love Obama Run 2024, and I do not want one of my favorite games to be gone permanently. I would pay to get this game back. Let me be clear, I mean no hate to those who like the original or think it should be taken down, but I just ask that Obama Run 2024 be an option for those of us who prefer it.
