Murray Monster was one of my favorite Sesame Street characters and he hasn't been on the show since 2016. I really want to see him again on the show, since he still appears in Sesame Place. Sesame Street, please bring Murray back and have a new puppeteer for him. I love Murray and I've always wanted to meet him since he started hosting the tune ins from 2009-2015 before the show got big changes from debuting on PBS Kids to debuting on HBO Max. I hope this petition convinces Sesame Street to bring back Murray in the future one day!

Murray was a great host and a cute and cuddly character, and I would also love to meet him one day and even get a picture and big hug like I did at Sesame Place in November 2019. He was also great at going to real world places outside the street which was great to see more of the world than the show's location. However, Sesame Street is now 30 minutes long, so if Murray DOES come back, he would need a new puppeteer that can imitate his voice that's close enough and since he's not part of the core characters, he would have to be a minor/supporting character that only appears occasionally (and maybe have a new puppet of him built). Please sign this petition so Sesame Street can bring back Murray, thank you! This means a lot to us!

STREET UPDATE for Fall 2025: Season 56, has wrapped up production and will now premiere on Netflix in 3 different batches, it will have a new animated Muppet segment called "Tales of 123". The street stories will now be 11 minutes long and the core 4 is now: Elmo, Abby, Grover and Cookie Monster, so like the other Muppets, Murray will have to be a minor character since he can't host tune ins anymore as the cast and crew has already finished making those formats since 2015. The remaining time after Street Story and Tales of 123 will be reruns of Foodie Truck and the reboot of Elmo's World (both will likely be discontinued soon, and The Letter of the Day and the Number of the Day are also discontinued). Despite that, it's really important to have Murray appear as a minor character (with a new similar puppeteer) even in animated form, so please keep these signs coming. Thanks for understanding! :)
