In the late 2000’s and 2010’s, being able to vote for what map you wanted to play on was a feature that the CoD community loved! It was taken away for the first time in 2019 with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It was then brought back in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and then taken away the next year with the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard. We haven’t heard any explanation from Infinity Ward and should have the right to vote on what maps we want to play on. It will let the developers know what types of maps the community demands and won’t force us to play maps that we don’t find enjoyable. This change will be beneficial for the long-term life of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, helping benefit with the new two-year life-cycle. Activision shouldn’t charge us more money if they’re going to take our favorite features away.
