Maelstrom is a beloved dark water ride opened July 5, 1988. It told the story of Norway's culture, and had amazing scenery and impressive animatronics. It was sadly removed in 2014 and replaced with the ride Frozen Ever After in 2016, But Maelstroms track and ride systems and even boats are still the exact same! meaning if Disney wanted too, they could bring back Maelstrom and bring back the history of Norway in the Disney parks. if Disney doesn't bring Maelstrom back sooner or later, eventually the ride will be forgotten and will have way less of a chance to come back!
