Though the El Rey Network folded and the show ended prematurely, Lucha Underground lives on in the hearts of millions — and the time is now to bring it back.

 

We, the fans, respectfully ask Amazon MGM Studios (now the rights holder) and Lucha Libre AAA (the wrestling partner) to reboot or revive Lucha Underground — whether as a continuation, a spiritual successor, or a new series in the same universe.

 

We believe:

 

Amazon Prime Video has the budget, global platform, and creative freedom to do LU justice.

 

Wrestlers — even from WWE and AEW — still speak fondly of Lucha Underground and would gladly return.

 

The LU concept remains one-of-a-kind: gritty, supernatural, innovative, and deeply loved.

 

With better funding and modern exposure, LU could become a global streaming hit.

 

 

We're asking Amazon MGM Studios and AAA to recognize this incredible opportunity. If cult shows like Lucifer, Futurama, and The Expanse can be brought back by fan demand — so can Lucha Underground.

 

We are ready to fight for the Temple. The fans are here. The wrestlers are waiting. The Temple is calling.
