Kickstart is a fruitful program. Many KS communities in schools will be severely affected, completely ignored by the Texas Education Agency's letter to the parents of these kids. This cause should not be put to rest by the TEA's facade on this program, stating that these teachers are not actually trained P.E coaches. Continuing Kickstart as an elective would be counter-intuitive to the organization's main goal; providing a P.E alternative and adding diversity to many's schedules. This program should not lose its P.E credit, as it may even be a better alternative to a traditional physical education, with common workouts and a useful subject.
