The Long Island Dragons and arena football did something special for the people of Long Island. It brought pride, excitement, and a true sense of togetherness that this community embraced. When it all came to an end in 2008, it left a void that hasn’t been filled since. For years, fans have been waiting for indoor football to return the right way.

We also recognize that past attempts, including the ENTFLA, hurt the credibility of indoor football in this area and left many fans disappointed. That experience cannot define the future of the sport on Long Island. It simply showed us what doesn’t work. What we are calling for now is stability, professionalism, and a league with real structure and leadership.

This petition is about proving that Long Island is ready for indoor football done the right way. The passion is still here. The fan base is still here. The community support is still here. Long Island isn’t just a football town — it’s an indoor football town. Always has been… always will be.
