In the Dark was a crime drama TV show that first aired in 2019 and recently ended after 4 seasons in 2022. The show aired on the CW network in the United States and is currently available for streaming on Netflix. The goal of this petition is to get In the Dark picked up by Netflix for a revival and more seasons. 

A lot of us are unhappy with the ending and believe a different ending is necessary. A possible storyline to get a revival started could be that the cops faked Max's death to protect him from Josh, who left the city before he could be arrested. Max eventually leaves the hospital to find Murphy. (Please give Max his Lemon tree while you're at it!)

Storylines aside, Murphy's character has really brought visual disabilities to the forefront and fills a crucial space in television history. I loved her personality and laughed at her savage burns and responses. She was so  bada** because of her disability. I also embraced her many flaws and grew to love Murphy and her friends. This is one of the few shows where I was able to connect with every character on some level. Her friends are a force to be reckoned with as well. You have Jess - her best friend of years (would love to see this relationship repaired in some way), Felix - the best sidekick and loyal friend ever, Darnell - a great partner in crime, Max - one of the best TV boyfriends in TV history, and who can forget Pretzel - Murphy's cute guide dog. 

This show deserves more seasons and to give the ITD universe the proper send off it deserves. It was well-written, well cast (the actors were seriously amazing!), with good character development, and memorable scenes across the board.
