Throughout the games lifecycle and beyond, Modern Warfare 2019 was constantly being modified to accommodate the original Warzone, this come at the expense of several ground war maps in the games multiplayer which have not been playable for 2 years now.

As we know, Warzone 1 has officially shut down as of September of 2023, which means that all of the game files which were added to Modern Warfare 2019 to accommodate Warzone are no longer needed.

Considering Modern Warfare 2019 is still being sold at its original full price, on top of the fact that the original Warzone has now shut down, there is nothing stopping Infinity Ward from fixing Modern Warfare 2019 and re adding all of the content that has been removed.
