As of May 9th 2022 no packages will be allowed unless mailed directly to facilities from a vendor . 
I am the wife of an incarcerated individual in NY State Doccs.  These men and women have already been handed down their punishment for the crime(s) committed. They are continuously stripped of basic human needs and now this!  My husband lives off of his monthly food package that I bring. The food that is served at these correctional facilities is known to cause health issues , ie : coronary heart disease, high blood pressure and the list goes on. My husband suffers from a heart condition already due to blockages in his arteries.
