Dental care in Dawson City has worsened to the point where it is non existent. Many individuals and families can't just jump in the car and drive for six hours to Whitehorse for an appointment or emergency. The costs can be difficult to manage, not to mention the stress. The oral health school program has also been degraded over the last decade. Why won't our government recognize that dental care is an essential service and should be provided to Dawsonites?

Therefore, we are asking the Territorial Government and the MInister of Health, Pauline Frost, to establish a dental examination room in our new hospital to accommodate visiting dentists and hygienists or at the very least facilitate accessible dental care for citizens living in and around Dawson City.
