We, the fans of classic tactical military shooters, respectfully ask Square Enix (and any current rights holders) to bring back the legendary Conflict: Desert Storm series to modern digital platforms such as Steam, GOG, and Epic Games.

The Conflict games, especially Desert Storm I & II (Back to Baghdad), hold a special place in the hearts of many players who grew up playing them on PC, PS2, Xbox, and GameCube in the early 2000s.

These games offered a unique blend of:

Squad-based tactics
Character specialization
Split-screen co-op (a rare gem today)
Realistic Gulf War missions with memorable gameplay
Unfortunately, the first game is no longer available on any official store, and the second game (available on Steam) is poorly optimized and plagued with bugs on modern systems.

We are not asking for a full remake (though we’d love that!). Just a stable, optimized, DRM-free re-release of both games would be enough to reignite the love of old fans and introduce these classics to a new generation.

Please consider bringing back Conflict: Desert Storm and Desert Storm II — the fans are here and waiting.
