Bring back Buena Vista as a separate movie production company called Buena Vista

Bring back Buena Vista as a separate movie production company called Buena Vista
The Issue
Buena Vista (Spanish for "good view") is a brand name that has historically been used for divisions, subsidiaries, and assets of The Walt Disney Company, whose primary studios, the Walt Disney Studios, are located on South Buena Vista Street in Burbank, California. The studio lot is also home to the company's corporate headquarters, the Team Disney Burbank building. The logos for the various Buena Vista brands featured the "Buena Vista" wordmark superimposed over the traditional Disney castle logo to signal the affiliation between Buena Vista and Disney.
In 1953, the brand was originally used for the Buena Vista Film Distribution Company, which had been established by Walt and Roy O. Disney to distribute The Living Desert (1953) after RKO Radio Pictures, Disney's longtime distributor, refused to. The company would go on to distribute all of Disney's future films, though some were still distributed by RKO until 1956 due to its preexisting contracts. However, Disney semi-retired the Buena Vista name as Buena Vista Pictures Distribution in May 2007.
In 1984, Buena Vista Home Entertainment (formerly Buena Vista Home Video) was created to release non-Disney-related videos not covered by the other Disney units, primarily third-party product licensed to them for home release, including concerts, documentaries, Jay Ward (Rocky & Bullwinkle) and Bagdasarian (Alvin and the Chipmunks) cartoons, as well as programming from the likes of U.S. Television Office, Weiss Global Enterprises, and Dargaud Films. It became the incorporated name for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment in 1987. They also covered the Jim Henson Video brand starting in 1990 after the Muppet Video brand and its US distributor, Playhouse Video, were shut down. Disney semi-retired the brand in 2009. However, the name is still being used since it is the incorporated name for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
As of now for Disney fans, they want to bring back Buena Vista as a separate movie production company rather than a distribution company like Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures did, Buena Vista is now a separate movie production company as a division of Disney Entertainment, which was owned by The Walt Disney Company, as the movie production company Buena Vista prepares to produce all future movies that are distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
All you have to do is sign the petition to bring back Buena Vista as a separate movie production company. #BringBackBuenaVista
