Bring back Buena Vista as a movie production company

Bring back Buena Vista as a movie production company
The Issue
Remembering Buena Vista, particularly the distributor Buena Vista Pictures Distribution, Inc. was the primary theatrical distribution arm of The Walt Disney Company from its founding in 1953 until its rebranding in 2007. Established to break away from reliance on outside distributors like RKO Radio Pictures, the brand became synonymous with Disney’s expansion beyond classic animation into live-action films, international distribution, and adult-oriented theater via subsidiaries.
Establishment: Founded on June 23, 1953, the company was named after Buena Vista Street in Burbank, California, where the Walt Disney Studios are located.
First Release: Its first release was the Academy Award-winning live-action documentary The Living Desert on November 10, 1953, accompanied by the animated short Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom.
In May 2007, The Walt Disney Company phased out the "Buena Vista" brand for most of its divisions, replacing it with the Disney, ABC, and ESPN brands to strengthen its core identity. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution became Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, officially retiring the long-standing, street-name-derived branding.
Buena Vista (Spanish for "good view") is a brand name that has historically been used for divisions, subsidiaries, and assets of The Walt Disney Company, whose primary studios, the Walt Disney Studios, are located on South Buena Vista Street in Burbank, California. The studio lot is also home to the company's corporate headquarters, the Team Disney Burbank building. The logos for the various Buena Vista brands featured the "Buena Vista" wordmark superimposed over the traditional Disney castle logo to signal the affiliation between Buena Vista and Disney.
Disney fans and Buena Vista fans want to bring back Buena Vista as a separate movie production company rather than acting as a distributor like Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures did (originally as Buena Vista Pictures Distribution from 1953-2007). Buena Vista will be a separate movie production company as a division of Disney Entertainment, which was owned by The Walt Disney Company as the movie production company Buena Vista prepares to produce all future movies that are distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
All we have to to do is sign the petition to bring back Buena Vista as a separate movie production company and we want Buena Vista to produce all future movies that are WDSMP-distributed. #BringBackBuenaVista #HeroesComingHome
