I know this might seem like a small thing to some people, but one of my favorite parts of Bob’s Burgers has always been the holiday episodes. There’s just something about watching Bob completely lose his mind over Thanksgiving dinner, seeing what ridiculous situation the kids get themselves into on Halloween, or getting surprised by how genuinely heartfelt the Christmas episodes can be. They’re some of the best episodes of the entire show, and for a lot of us, watching them has become a holiday tradition. That’s why it’s been so disappointing to see the future of these episodes become uncertain because of changes to Fox’s scheduling. I understand that networks have schedules to work around, but I really don’t want to see something that has been such a big part of the show’s identity slowly disappear. And if airing them on Fox is the problem, why not release them on Hulu instead? I’m not asking for anything crazy here. I’d just love to see Bob’s Burgers continue getting a proper Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas episode every year. The people making this show have given us so many great memories over the years. I’d hate for future fans to miss out on experiencing that same excitement when the holidays roll around. So I’m hoping we can get enough people together to show Fox, Disney, and everyone involved that these episodes still mean something to us.
