Hi all, 

Apologies for the long silence. Unfortunately, the petition was unsuccessful in persuading the new owners of 301 Harris Ave. to consider Danielle's proposal. She was informed that her proposal was not selected for consideration, and thus ends the petition. This happened more than a month ago. I've been busy, and upon learning that the proposal was no longer being considered, I basically stopped paying attention to the petition for a while. 

Although we were unsuccessful, I can't thank you all enough for your signatures and shares to get the word out immediately after I launched this. I knew it was a long shot going in, but it was definitely a shot worth taking. And although we weren't able to reclaim 301 Harris Ave., Danielle is now booking shows and bartending at Fete Music Hall (now under new management), as well as at Getties, which is next door to Fete (the former Shelter Arcade Bar), both on Dike Street in Olneyville, so if want to continue supporting Danielle and live music in Providence, check out those venues! 

I'll leave the petition open a bit longer just to ensure most people see this update, and then I'll close it. Thanks again, and I hope you continue to support the arts and live music scene in Providence!
