Update: Amino 2.0 website revealed #BringBackAmino

Do you remember the Amino website? Why did it got shutdown? It was still up in mid 2025 but months later that same year in December 2025 it was gone.

• The Amino app permanently shut down in December 2025, taking its mobile apps, websites, and servers offline. Parent company MediaLab AI did not provide an official public notice, but support staff confirmed that operations and user data retention ended around December 19, 2025.

1. Why is Amino removed?  The application was pulled from both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in December 2025 around the same time as Amino shut down its website as well as its servers.
2. Why is the servers taken offline? Connection requests fail with time-out errors, and all historical user data has been wiped or made permanently inaccessible, which is most likely due to the backend infrastructure was shut down, all access to communities, blogs, art, and chat histories was cut off.
3. Why is user data wiped and deleted which counts as data deletion? As mentioned, support communications indicated that user data was no longer retained following the cessation of operations, meaning lost profiles and content cannot be recovered.
4. Why is the support no longer support emails anymore? Residual automated/final support emails confirmed the absolute cessation of the platform and inability to recover personal data.
5. Why is the shutdown for Amino never officially announced? The shutdown for Amino and its application was never officially announced and MediaLab never issued a statement either. Unlike most other applications and websites, there was no official statement from MediaLab and no word from the said company most likely regarding the shutdown.

People particularly Amino fans want MediaLab and Narvii collaborate each other to bring back not only the social media application Amino as a new and improved successor called Amino 2.0 but also bring back the Amino website as a new and improved website too for Amino 2.0 simultaneously.

• About the Amino 2.0 Website: Just like its mobile app, the website will have more anime, more K-pop. more art, more hardwood and others than its predecessor. In addition, it will have various monetization as well as the additions of parental controls, strict rules and good safety checks, and Amino Archives which is dedicated to past fandoms that were originally on Amino but now they added to Amino 2.0, as well as helpdesk and combined features from Reddit, Discord and Tumblr which handled the support for Amino 2.0.
