Check 1 out of 5 to victory! Yes! You heard that right! Moab, Utah is working on a Dark Sky and Amber streetlight project for this town! For anyone who's from Moab and reads this, congrats on convincing your city to let them know that white light is bad!

We need 4 more cities to go, plus my local city to start working on these Dark Sky and Amber streetlight projects. Let's keep pushing our cities ACROSS THE WORLD to require the utilization of Amber streetlights! And remind our Country Leaders to be aware of the issues most cities are facing with our Streetlights!

For U.S. Residents: If you have NOT YET contacted your Local Legislature about white light being a problem in your city, I HIGHLY urge you to! Click here to find your Local Legislature and contact them regarding white light being a MAJOR issue.

Let me share an experience with you about HOW BAD white light is. So just a couple of nights ago, I was taking a late night walk. I was walking through a REALLY BEAUTIFUL neighborhood. And as I was walking through an area where there was NO white streetlights, I looked up in the sky, and I could NOT see the Milky Way. I was SO upset about that, because the amount of white light that was emitting into the atmosphere. And I just felt extremely sad that I could NOT see the Milky Way. I was able to see a FEW stars. But that was about it!

This is ONE OF THE BIGGEST reasons why white light is BAD for our nighttime sky! So much of white and blue light getting into our Atmosphere at night reflects in the sky. Especially the MESOSPHERE. The Mesosphere, (Known for the MAJOR PROTECTION of the rest of our Earth's Atmosphere) can reflect light from the surface as well. Making it hard to see our Stars and other orbitals across the sky at night.

So again, let's fight for our nighttime environment and let our Officials know that white and blue light at night, is just a way of hurting our nighttime sky!

For Residents Outside the U.S.: You can either email or send paper mail to your Local Leaders outside of the United States. Sadly I do NOT have any links to provide for you, due to NOT having access to Leaders outside my country. But you could translate this quote, "Find and Contact my Local Leaders or Government". So you can find your Local Government or a Government of your Country.

And again, Thank you ALL for Supporting this Petition and the need for our nighttime sky! Let's keep teaming up and contacting our cities and let them know that the use of white light should be BANNED and that Amber lighting is a MUCH BETTER source!

You all have a good afternoon!
