A Seamless TV & Sports Solution: Fox Corporation can regain its powerhouse film and television arms (including 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight, 20th Television, 20th Television Animation, FX, National Geographic, and Star) without operational stress. Disney can retain licensing rights to keep Fox IPs on Disney+ and Hulu, ensuring massive hits like The Simpsons stay exactly where fans watch them.
Theme Parks & Marvel Collaboration: The World of Avatar will remain a crown jewel at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Furthermore, future mutant and X-Men films can be co-produced between the standalone Fox studio and Marvel Studios, using the highly successful Sony/Spider-Man blueprint.
Unlocking the Vaults: Restoring Fox Corporation's independent film studio means finally releasing the massive film library (1920s–2026) out of the Disney vaults, giving both classic and modern Fox films the premium 4K physical and digital treatment they deserve. Along with Disney selling the rights of the 2019-2026 20th Century Studios films and the Saban/Fox Kids library back to Fox Corporation.
An Animation Renaissance: We propose reviving 20th Century Fox Animation as a powerhouse in-house feature studio. To honor the legacy of Blue Sky Studios, Fox can partner with Annapurna Animation to co-produce groundbreaking new animated features and rebranding 20th Television Animation back to Fox Television Animation to produce not only continuing in-house adult animated hits for Hulu,Tubi, and Fox like The Simpsons,Family Guy,Futurama,King of The Hill,and American Dad,but also kids shows based off Fox IP's and original ideas as well. That way,Fox can now have three animation studios:20th Century-Fox Animation,Fox Television Animation,and Bento Box Entertainment.
How This Benefits Disney's Future
By selling the Fox assets back, Disney can clear debt and hyper-focus on reviving its own legendary, dormant brands. Disney could successfully re-establish:
Touchstone Pictures & Touchstone Television for mature, live-action storytelling.
RKO Radio Pictures as a newly revived subsidiary label (by acquiring RKO Holdings, mirroring how Paramount revived Republic Pictures and Amazon MGM brought back Orion and United Artists). This brings Disney's historic 1937–1953 distribution history full circle.
