There is a problem in Upper Bucks County that needs to be addressed.

I have a good friend who keeps pestering me to go into the city to see Béla Fleck & The Flecktones.

There's just one problem:

Chris doesn't go to the city.

Chris goes to Quakertown. Chris goes to Sea Grove down the Jersey Shore. That's pretty much the approved travel radius. 😂

Therefore, there is only one reasonable solution:

Bring Béla Fleck & The Flecktones to Quakertown!

All joking aside, Quakertown has a fantastic outdoor concert venue in the Univest Performance Center, and Béla Fleck & The Flecktones would be an incredible addition to its concert lineup.

Béla Fleck has taken the banjo places most of us never imagined it could go, while Victor Wooten, Future Man and Howard Levy have helped make the Flecktones one of the most distinctive live bands around.

There are bluegrass fans, jazz fans, banjo players, musicians and live-music lovers throughout Bucks, Montgomery and Lehigh counties who would love the opportunity to see this band without traveling into Philadelphia.

This petition has a simple purpose:

Let's demonstrate that there's an audience here.

If you'd buy a ticket to see Béla Fleck & The Flecktones at the Univest Performance Center in Quakertown, please sign this petition.

Then share it with your friends, musicians, banjo pickers and anybody else who would come out for an unforgettable night of music in Quakertown.

Let's fill the amphitheater and bring the Flecktones to Upper Bucks!

And, most importantly...

Let's finally get my friend to stop asking me to go to the city. 😂🪕
