Give Us a Hand: The ASL Update!

Wow! Our ASL petition has reached over 500 signatures! Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, and supported bringing American Sign Language (ASL) to South Orangetown schools. This community is showing up, and we are so grateful!
Now we need your help with one more important step.
We’ve created a quick, anonymous survey to help us better understand the demand for ASL among South Orangetown students. We want to learn which grades are interested, how many students would choose ASL, and where the greatest interest lies.
Would your child choose ASL if it were offered alongside Spanish, French, and Italian? Would they prefer another language? We want to hear from you either way. Every response helps us build a clearer picture of student interest.
👉 Please take a moment to complete the survey:

A few important notes: The survey is quick and anonymous. It is for research and planning purposes only. No decisions have been made, and this is not course registration.
Thank you for helping us turn 500+ signatures into a clearer understanding of what our students want. Please complete the survey and share it with other South Orangetown families!
Sincerely,
Mom's on a mission
