- I'm hoping by getting as many names as possible and sending this to Aldi it might help them get through the yellow tape of planning appeals.
- As the residents of the town want Aldi in town crazy that ‘’ rgdata ’’ can try to stop this from happening.
- The town’s crying out for Aldi and I guarantee the vast majority is welcoming it. Not only will it help low-income families it will also bring more people into the town to spend money rather than going to Cavan or Monaghan or bailieboro. It will also help with parking issues in the town
- We need more variety SuperValu is doing their best in town with limited options for people with limited diets its a nightmare. 1 freezer aisle with limited options for Coeliacs and other dietary restrictions.
- It's Ridiculous that there's only one supermarket with a monopoly on the customers in a town with so many people. It is just not good enough in this day and age. With the price of grocery’s going through the roof we need more options.
- The bottom half of the town is dead there's literally very little on it. Not only will aldi bring people to the town to shop it will increase footfall at the bottom of the town hence the empty shops might get opened
- it will also help some of the restaurants in town as a lot of families do their weekly shop and go for food after it on a Saturday or a mid-week treat .
