Life is very hard for a lot of people on St. James's St – Brighton.

I've been on St. James's Street for 4 years now and I can tell you I've seen it all, the Good, the Bad and much much Worse.!

Despite its downfalls we are a prominent part of the community and proud of it, we've helped to create it, but how do we move forward and continue to be a community when we are being taken apart bit buy bit buy allowing such things to happen in our local supermarkets.?

Due to a huge social and economical problem we have on our street business is a big struggle, it's a challenge every day to keep our heads above water.

To my horror I saw a Costa vending machine in our local Co-Op (which we support daily), Morrissons and the Post Office also have one!

I ask you Brighton & Hove Council is there any need?

One simple answer is, YES GREED.

Why is COSTA being allowed to litter local Supermarkets and Post Offices with their vending machines??

Supermarkets/Post Offices are you not making enough profit??

Yes it's a free market but NO it's definitely not a fair one.

How about sticking to your own products and stop finding ways to undercut local small businesses, just to boost up your bulging profits. 

Enough with the huge conglomerates barging their way into our lives just like that, no ethics, no morals, no accountability.

NO MORE COFFEE VENDING MACHINES IN LOCAL SUPERMARKETS & POST OFFICES.

Please sign and show support for all independent cafes in Brighton & Hove.

This is WRONG - it's time for CHANGE.
