Keep up the pressure, almost there !

Hello everyone, we are entering the last 2 weeks of the consultation period for our premises licence application, so we have 14 days more in which to try to mobilise as much support as possible. So, we are reaching out again to ask people to write in to the Licensing Department to voice their support for our licence application. The email address to write to is : EHL.Safety@brighton-hove.gov.uk. Please take care to give your postal address as this is a condition apparently. If you felt so inclined, please feel free to mention any of the following points : • The need in Brighton for a community based, not-for-profit arts space promoting sustainable and healthy living and an alternative to the alcohol-fuelled and often anti-social night life elsewhere on West Street. • If we are to reduce levels of alcohol fuelled crime and anti-social behaviour, particularly amongst young people, we need to tackle the root causes of such behaviour, addressing the ‘ binge drinking culture’ by promoting healthier and more considerate alternatives. Feel free also to share this petition on your social media - it's such an easy way for people to support the cause, and everytime someone shares it, we get 20-30 more signatures.
