One of our resident's group has regularly been in contact with Planning and is on their mailing list regarding the Peaks Hill Farm Site. Despite this, no information was given about progress on the plans to develop the site. Yet the planners told us at the Consultation meetings that we would have been contacted if we had been on the mailing list. Clearly, not the case! Since attending the Consultation meetings, our member has been informed that the Council have been working with an agent for 2 years, but officers were not allowed to disclose this. Surely the obvious conclusion here is that the Council have withheld this information due to it's controversial nature? Their way of keeping information from us? It certainly puts massive question marks over their consultation process and their integrity!
