For as long as many of us can remember, living in Connecticut has entailed ever increasing electricity prices by Eversource. 

It wouldn’t be a big deal if there was competition and other companies to provide the same service at better prices. 

As it stands, Eversource has a monopoly on modern living in the state of Connecticut. Air conditioning, heating in the winter, lights and technology usage. With work from home and climate change becoming every increasingly common, it’s obscene that one company has a lock on the system that provides both necessary comforts and utility for our everyday lives. 

These individuals are price gouging an essential utility.  

This needs to be rectified and spoken upon in town halls and places of political discussion immediately. This system won’t change until we decide to do something about it and the time to act is NOW!
