The reason of why the internet is like it is today, full of ads, monopolies, enshittification, and AI enforcement more is because Big Tech hasn't been broken up in the first place. Breaking up Big Tech, such as Microsoft, Meta, Google, and more and freeing up what they have acquired would make the internet and the world a far better place. No techoligarchy, no unlawful collection of data, no monopolies... Just a better market and a more free internet.
