On August 22, 2016, Breadwinners aired its final episode on NickToons. And personally, considering the show's cancelation, the ending was very rushed & poorly written. However, despite the show's reputation for being overhated, I believe it has potential for a revival. A revival movie at that.

Why a movie, specifically? If anything, Breadwinners deserves a much better ending than what it got. Plus, in my opinion, it's better to give the show one last hurrah than just make a whole new show as a cash-grab (which is what Nickelodeon has been doing nowadays). Speaking of Nick, Spongebob (&  "The Loud House" too) has been the network's life support for the longest and they could really use something else to pay attention to. If shows like "Invader Zim" and "Rocko's Modern Life" can get revival movies, then Breadwinners has a chance at it too. In fact, this would even be a great opportunity to show the haters that bashed this show until its end that gross-out, nonsense shows like Breadwinners deserve a second wind. 

A decade after the show's rise & fall, the Breadwinners fandom has slowly, but surely been growing with those of us who have love and nostalgia for it. Even I, the creator of this petition, have a heartfelt experience with this show. It got me through the toughest of times since I was a kid and played a significant part in shaping me into the person I am today. As of 2026, I've been on my mission to revive the show for nearly 6 years and am determined to make this a reality.
