Hello everyone! So like you, since council showing their support I have heard a whole lot of nothing in regards to the changes they intend to start to implement or inquire about. However I have not personally given up hope, I figured I would give them until the end of summer because as you all know change takes time, and given the current climate with elections in sight I can understand that everyone is a little busy right now. But as of today I have sent an email to their legislative services asking if they have any updates to give me that I can share with you all— so hopefully we hear something back by the end of the week! Whether this update is negative or positive I know that we all will not stop trying to stand up for our environment, nature and our children’s futures in regards to helping prevent the unnecessary waste that litters the streets. So keep on fighting on and putting pressure on those in charge whether it be by signing petitions like these or voting with your dollars to show there is no longer a demand for things such as unnecessary plastics, because eventually they will have to listen— there is strength in numbers.
