Unfortunately, there is still more misinformation circulating from Bradford's “fact sheet” about the proposed 18-storey skyscraper in the Beach:

“If the whole site were restricted to 6-storeys [it] would limit the total number of new homes to 60 or 70, with only 30 being affordable.”

Where did they get these numbers from? They were completely made up. The proposal as-is has 125 homes on floors 1 - 6 alone, not “60 to 70” !

With the additional recommendation of removing the vehicle lane, above ground parking, and reducing the set-back to Eastern Ave, all 279 units can be done in a 6-storey height, and all can be affordable.
