Salutations!
As of 10am, our petition has been viewed 1,742 times and signed 457 times. All this exponential growth has been achieved in under 48 hours. Imagine the progress we'll make in a week!
85% of petitions on Change.org get fewer than 50 signatures. We've soared past that statistic nearly tenfold, and our numbers are only continuing to climb.
As we rapidly approach 500 (I still can't believe we've reached the hundreds already!), I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for signing, sharing, and otherwise contributing to this campaign.
Together, we will change this antiquated and discriminatory rule for one that acknowledges the worth of a home-school education and guarantees equal opportunity for all.
I am currently reaching out to local media to see if any of them would like to cover this important story. In the meantime, please consider writing letters to the editor of your local newspaper or calling-in to your favorite radio talk-show. Whether you live in Oregon or elsewhere, drawing attention to this petition is crucial for victory.
500 is an impressive accomplishment. I'm half-tempted to stop there, but I know we can go higher. How does 1,000 sound? It's definitely possible given our outstanding track record.
Be sure to check your e-mail (especially your Junk Folder!) for weekly updates. They will also be available on this website.
Thanks again for your undying support.
Sincerely,
- Adam Russell Garman
