Today the new details of the new owner of Easthampstead Park House were announced and straight away alarm bells are ringing.
The new owner was announced as "Active Hospitality" which was only incorporated in 2016 and has to yet produce any accounts to HMRC (for which it will be struck off in 2 months if they are not returned), it claims to have a meagre £4.7Million in capital (tied up in two smallish hotels) which is surprising considering we were told they new owner would be an 'established hotel chain'.
In addition three new Limited companies have been formed:
EASTHAMPSTEAD HOTEL LIMITED (11484534)
EASTHAMPSTEAD HOSPITALITY LIMITED (11484537)
EASTHAMPSTEAD HOLDINGS LIMITED (11482535)
More worryingly the person with significant control (more than 50%) is a Mr Joseph Saleem Shashou, a Brazilian national who's occupation is listed as "Property Developer".
