#BoycottVOYA and #ListenVOYA updates

We are 18 days into the VOYA debacle! Since our last update, there have been two important developments in this petition. 1. Hannah and myself have collaborated tirelessly with the VOYA Accountability Coalition to create a more intentional petition targeting VOYA's advertisers. We urge all of our petition signers to also sign the second petition. Every signature sends 47 emails directly to VOYA's biggest advertisers informing them of VOYA's unacceptable behavior. The petition lists five specific action steps for VOYA to take to repair our trust in order for advertising relationships to be restored. Some advertisers have already responded by pulling financial relationships with VOYA, so we know it is working. Sign the second petition to stand up for integrity in our industry. In addition to singing, spread this petition using #listenVOYA 2. On Oct. 1 Lisa Kurdyla successfully had her name redacted from a portion of our petition citing a violation of change.org privacy policies. We deny these claims and insist we have abided by all user policies. Lisa's position as Reviews Editor and co-owner of VOYA are public positions available to view on the VOYA website. We did not post any of Lisa's private information (phone numbers, credit card, address, etc.), only her name and position with the magazine. We have now refuted the violation claims three times in various change.org channels. All three attempts to resolve this dispute have been ignored by change.org. We have hesitated to discuss this without fully understanding change.org's decision to censor our petition, but their lack of cooperation for ten days is unacceptable and our petition signers deserve to know of these changes.
