John Anthony Falango shot and killed a female black bear and cub, leaving two cubs orphaned. Those who commit egregious acts against wildlife should be held accountable to ensure that actions such as theirs are not recurrent. If left unpunished, his crime sends a message that it is ok to break the law.

For the reasons stated above, we, the undersigned, request that John Anthony Falango receive the maximum sentence allowed under law.
