Hi Everyone 

Having contacted Lisa Nandy—Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport—that turns out to have been pointless. MPs can only respond to their constituents. 

My local MP also reponded but it was as though he hadn’t even bothered to read the petition. I have asked for a better response. I was shocked and disgusted by the generic email that I received. I do hope the follow up is prompt and more meticulous. 

I'm starting to see why so many people have no motivation to be involved in social campaigns; those that can really force change, don't want to do so. We are restricted in what we can achieve, when we do not receiving the support and attention—needed and deserved—from those in power. 

I'll be back again when there's something further to report. I hope it will be better news than today.
