As you know, the South Bronx is already disproportionately burdened with waste facilities, power plants and diesel truck traffic. You are to be commended for making sure the East 91st Street marine transfer facility is opened, but please do not dump a tax payer subsidized truck fleet for an unprofitable corporation on our potentially vibrant waterfront. Please reject the recent City Planning Commission report that the Restrictive Covenant on the Harlem River Rail Yards land use would not be violated.
