Being from the Netherlands, a country where water is an integral part of our daily lives and history, I find it deeply troubling that the legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire has left out water in their iconic name and music. As a nation known for our canals, dykes, and water management systems, we understand better than anyone the vital role water plays in both sustaining life and shaping civilizations and music! 

Water is literally the most essential element for life on Earth. It covers 71% of our planet's surface and is a crucial resource for agriculture, industry, and personal health. Without water, there would be no plants, no animals, and no humans. Yet, the band Earth, Wind & Fire, celebrated for their harmonious blend of soul, funk, and R&B, has chosen to exclude this critical element from their creative narrative. This oversight downplays the environmental and practical significance of water and sends a concerning message about its importance.

I urge all music lovers and environmentally conscious individuals to join me in boycotting Earth, Wind & Fire until they acknowledge the oversight and incorporate water into their brand. This is not just about a name; it’s about recognizing and respecting the elemental force that sustains us all.
