Boycott Bowlero bowling centers. 07/18-19/26
The Issue
I'm a Disabled Veteran who relies on a service dog to navigate my life, seeking independence and a semblance of normalcy. Yet, I am being unjustly barred from all Bowlero bowling centers across the United States based on falsehoods concocted about me. This deceit is primarily aimed at preventing my service dog, a crucial part of my life support system, from accompanying me inside these facilities.
Service dogs are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which mandates that individuals with disabilities have the right to be accompanied by their service animals in all areas where the public is allowed to go. The actions of Bowlero bowling centers are not only discriminatory but also blatantly disrespect a federal law enacted to protect the rights of people like me.
This issue is not isolated to me alone. There must be numerous other patrons who rely on service animals and are potentially facing similar discrimination across various Bowlero locations. By blocking our access, Bowlero is not only alienating disabled veterans but also perpetuating a culture of exclusion and misinformation.
I am urging everyone who values justice and equality to stand with me in boycotting Bowlero bowling centers until they rescind this unjust ban and implement comprehensive ADA compliance training for their staff. This will ensure that all patrons, regardless of their disability status, are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Let us send a strong message to Bowlero and advocate for inclusivity and adherence to federal law. I ask you to sign this petition, stand up against discrimination, and support the rights of individuals with disabilities and their service animals. Together, we can foster an environment where everyone is welcome and valued. Please sign and share this petition today!
