As Muslims in Toronto and in Canada, we should not be proud that she as a Muslim Canadian is the deputy mayor of Toronto, because she participated in an LGBTQ rally and chances are that she supports LGBTQ movement. It’s going to be significantly & potentially inappropriate & un-Islamic for the Muslim Community in Toronto, especially to our children. Such circumstances like this is a huge concern for our religion, our Islamic tradition, and our Muslim community. We must act upon disapproving & revoking her as the deputy mayor of Toronto and try not to make her participate & get involved with any mosques, musallahs, Islamic organizations, Islamic events, Islamic programs, or any other Islamic community to avoid religious complications, spiritual degradation, and shame & embarrassment to our Muslim community. This can also impact our Charter Rights in Freedom of Religion Section 2 (A) where the Muslim community will be pressured to face & combat religious & spiritual challenges against un-Islamic ideologies to protect our Islamic faith & Islamic tradition for our Muslim community. Our goal is to pressure all so-called Liberal Muslims to stop deceiving the Muslim community by just putting on hijab or joining symbolic Islamic rites and putting compromise against the Islamic jurisprudence which can backfire the entire Muslim community of Toronto as well as the GTA.
