Urgent/Desperate donations are needed for food/medical treatment for dogs rescued from the dog meat markets & various strays in Incheon, South Korea. These dogs are traumatized, disabled, abused, neglected & abanonded. There are people who are out to eat dog meat and not enough activists to rescue these dogs from horrific and unimaginable torture. Mr. Song is responsible for shutting down a few dog farms in the last 10 years and now serves the rescued dogs and poorest shelters 24/7. In his 10 years of dedication, he has never taken a day off whether it rains or snows. He also makes special trips to the mountain daily to feed the homeless dogs. On several occasions, he was very ill but a phone call from a nearby resident got him out of bed when he was told that the dogs were waiting for him in the rain. ...I'm a resident in Orange County, CA. Four years ago, a friend of mine went to Korea and rescued 5 dogs about to be butchered for dog meat. I've fostered 2 and found great homes for them. He knows Mr. Song and praises him for his unwaivering commitment to so many dogs in need. Dogs are always hungry due to lack of food. Most days, it's rationed and some days, not enough to feed all of them. Mr. Song struggles daily to minimally survive and even a $1 will make a difference in whether the dogs eat or not.
