Good morning Andrew,

Thank you so much for reaching out with regard to the petition for designating a sledding area at the open space adjacent to Heatherwood.  This area is currently being reviewed as part of the Gunbarrel Hill ISP, which will go to the OSBT, and we would welcome your participation in that public process. 

To give a brief history, the department kicked-off the planning in January with a public meeting at Heatherwood Elementary, and plans to have a second public engagement later this year.  Though it’s not scheduled yet, you can find all the most up-to-date information on the project here: http://bit.ly/ISP-Gunbarrel  In the meantime, you can always reach out to me directly.
