According to Sam Marsiglia,  the Director or the MPC for Bossier,  the Super Walmart at Airline Dr and Wemple Rd in North Bossier is still just a proposal but will more than likely be passed.He said that the exact location IS the 99 acres behind Exxon.  The next meeting to vote on the annex of the property will be Sept 14th at 2pm and is open to the public. They only have to notify those within 300ft which obviously would not include any of the residential areas or businesses this will greatly affect.

He said a meeting to approve the Walmart would likely be held in 2-3 months. And probably approved. He didn't seem to understand my concerns with property values, safety & traffic.

THE ONLY CHANCE WE HAVE TO INFLUENCE CHANGE IS TO ALL STAND AND SPEAK TOGETHER!  WE DO HAVE THE POWER TO INFLUENCE AS A GROUP.  If you have concerns about property values, safety, traffic, or other issues that may arise from a Super Walmart being built at this location SIGN THIS PETITION, CALL THE MPC AND BOSSIER COUNCIL MEMBERS,  and show up at the next MPC meeting to be heard.
