Tre gattini...tolti alla sicurezza ed al calore della mamma, chiusi in uno scatolone e lasciati a morire di terrore, di fame e di sete. Quando abbiamo trovato lo scatolone, 2, sebbene soccorsi, non ce l'hanno fatta. Il terzo è morto qualche giorno dopo. 
Nati per morire.
Chiediamo:
1) che alla Polizia di Koufonissi vengano forniti persone e moderna attrezzatura per risalire ai responsabili di questo reato (sì...anche in Grecia è un reato) e che vengano assicurati alla giustizia
2) che venga programmata 1 campagna semestrale o annuale di sterilizzazione nell'isola
3) che la Municipalità emetta ordinanza per l'obbligo di sterilizzazione dei gatti padronali.
Quanto capitato a Koufonissi, 3 gattini chiusi sigillati in uno scatolone, per farli lentamente morire, non è accettabile.

Three little kittens ... taken away from the safety and warmth of their mother, closed in a carton box and left to die of terror, hunger and thirst.
When we found the box we immediately rescued them all but 2 of them did not make it after a short while and the third died a few days later.
They were born to die.

We strongly urge that:
1) the Police of Koufonissi be provided with people and modern equipment to track down those responsible for this crime (yes...even in Greece this is a crime) and that they are brought to justice
2) that a proper sterilization campaign gets programmed on the island every 6 months or, at least, once per year
3) the Municipality issues an ordinance for the compulsory sterilization of owner cats.
What happened in Koufonissi, 3 kittens closed sealed in a carton box, letting them slowly die, is not acceptable.
