Petition updateHold a public inquiry into the Government's handling of the Covid-19 pandemicHow far will the Cabinet Office go to protect Boris Johnson?

The Cabinet Office is refusing to disclose Boris Johnson’s WhatsApp’s and journals to the Covid 19 Public Inquiry. If they fail to hand over the evidence by 30th of May, the Cabinet Office will be committing a criminal offence.

Bereaved families are fighting to have their evidence heard in the Inquiry, just as we had to fight to get the Government to launch an Inquiry to begin with. And at the same time the former Prime Minister willing to ‘let the bodies pile high’ thinks he can get away with hiding evidence, no matter the cost to the UK government’s reputation and taxpayer’s pockets.

The question is, how far is he willing to go to hide from justice? And what are he, and the Cabinet Office, so keen to hide?

The worst possible thing has happened to us already. We have lost loved ones because of the Government’s mistakes. Johnson’s WhatsApp’s wont bring our loved ones back, but they will bring to light the mistakes that shaped the pandemic. If crucial evidence is left in the hands of powerful liars, shielded from public scrutiny, these mistakes will surely be repeated.

Thanks to your support, we have already been fighting Johnson and the Cabinet Office tooth and nail. You might have seen us in The Guardian, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mirror, ITV News, Good Morning Britain, C4 News, CNN, The Independent, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The I, The Metro and many more this week, challenging his lies and deceit.

We need your support to show the Boris Johnson and the Cabinet Office that they are not above the law.  To help us do this, please donate to our Crowdfunder here: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/covid-bereaved-must-be-heard-at-the-covid-inquiry

With your help, we can continue to  fight for justice for our loved ones, and for the safety of yours.

With thanks,
