We are family and friends of some of the more than one hundred and fifty thousand people who’ve lost their lives to Covid-19.
Right now, Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice are drawing hearts by hand on a wall opposite Parliament in London and we are making headlines around the world.
This wall is the National Covid Memorial Wall.
Each heart represents someone who was loved. Someone who was lost too soon to Covid-19.
This wall is being painted by the public and funded by donations.
Please give what you can so we can finish this memorial.
£10 pays for 2 pens for volunteers to be able to paint the hearts
£20 pays for a hi-viz jacket and mask so volunteers can complete the work safely
£100 pays for a sandwich board so each section can be marked and everyone knows about the National Memorial Wall who passes by
£2000 helps pay for an entire section of the wall. There are 25 sections to complete.
Anything you can contribute is gratefully received.
Like the scale of our collective loss, this memorial is enormous. Small palm-sized hearts will cover more than half a kilometre of a two-metre high wall. It will take the best part of ten minutes to walk the length of it.
We hope everyone in the country will be part of this effort, and together we can share our grief through this overwhelming display of love.
If you can help us create the lasting memorial to our loved ones, directly opposite parliament you can donate here
Thank you for all your support you have given us, it means more than you will ever know.
