Nazanin should have been home today. She should be tucking her daughter, Gabriella, into bed and having dinner with her husband Richard. But instead Nazanin is still in Iran, being summoned to court this weekend to face new charges and is not able to return home.

Yesterday, after 5 long years, Nazanin’s sentence officially ended and her ankle tag was removed. I spoke with Richard who told me on a personal level it was a better day for Nazanin. She got to taste freedom - leaving her house to visit her grandmother, see friends - things she hasn’t been able to do in a long time. But as Nazanin is facing new charges, her life is still in limbo, and their family still don’t know what the future holds.

Richard believes that Nazanin is being used as a bargaining chip between the UK and Iranian Government. He wants some answers -  to know what the plan is to end Nazanin’s nightmare and reunite his family.

In light of yesterday’s news, Richard and Howell productions have released a new video to demand freedom for Nazanin. He would like people to watch and share the video, to keep up the pressure, and show how many people are still fighting for Nazanin. Will you watch and share?
