This is a plea to the government to lower the costs of a covid test pre international travel. During these testing times people are looking at travelling abroad for the first holiday In probably over 2 years. The potential costs of a covid tests pre-flight for a family of four could cost in the region of £500. I feel this is very high high and a financial burden on families and individuals travelling abroad.

I urge Boris Johnson and Grant shapps to please take a look at this. Not only is this a burden to families and individuals alike but in a bid to get people travelling again I think this is a massive hurdle that could be avoided in allowing people to take travel again.

I feel in many ways the potential costs of covid tests are the difference between either people not going on holiday or people struggling whilst on holiday due to the rising costs of everything nowadays. By adding a potential cost onto their holiday such as the covid test maybe the difference between cancelling a holiday or not being able to enjoy when you there.

Please UK government please incentivise the need for people to travel again and safe and free to do so.
