Last week we launched our manifesto for the rights of EU citizens and Britons abroad at Pushkin House in London.
It was the perfect backdrop to bring together the inspiration of the suffragette movement with the fight for the rights of #the5million.
Can you chip in £10, £25, £50 or what you can afford to our campaign
Like the suffragettes, EU citizens in the UK and Britons abroad do not want to be treated as second class citizens.
#The5million do not want our rights taken away, our status changed, our votes denied.
Else Kvist who has been a leading campaigner in our #DeniedMyVote campaign made a great speech.
Courage calls - Else Kvist - Watch here
There is still much that you can do to help us make an impact during the General Election.
We need you to contact the MP candidates in your area for example and ask them to pledge to support #the5million.
In the next 72 hours, we will be emailing you pledge cards, asking you to email the card to your candidates.
Ask your candidates to email you to say they support the pledge(s) and to make this known by sharing the pledge card on social media.
We also ask you to note the press conference we are organising on Tue., 10 December, Human Rights Day at the Press Club in Brussels.

In front of an invited audience of MEPs, press contacts and civil rights campaigners, we will insist citizens' rights issues are dealt with as a priority from the moment the new government in the UK takes office.
Our calls to courage include our call for a public inquiry into #DeniedMyVote, guarantees of the rights of #the5million including the right to vote in local elections and for a Green Card to safeguard and ring-fence current rights and status.
The scandalous disenfranchisement of 1.7m EU citizens and thousands of Britains abroad means that the new Government must be challenged to take compensatory measures.
We will renew our calls for the abolition of the 15 year rule that bars long-term Britons abroad from voting and for free citizenship for EU citizens in the UK so they can vote in General Elections.
We need to keep funding our campaigns so that we can continue to do our best to secure positive outcomes.
Please consider making a further donation in these critical final days of the campaign so that we have the best chance of winning through.
Citizens should not be paying the price of Brexit or of an incompetent ad/or manipulative government that refuses to safeguard their rights.
Take courage from the campaign energy of the suffragettes as it resonates into our campaign and please take steps to contact your candidates about these issues.
Please continue to chip in to our campaign.
With best regards
ROGER CASALE
