Over the years many women have been raped or attacked in their home or whilst out in public and with all due respect not much help for anyone in public as people are to scared to get involved not all women feel comfortable in going to classes to learn to fight back and in some cases classes can't be afforded due to low income. And in some cases beliefs could also stop a woman from going to these classes

And I feel that all women regardless of age should be allowed to carry a mace spray or a dye spray to deter their attackers or to identify them if a uv spray is used and marks a person upto 48 hours

It is impossible to say when an attack could happen these days in our modern society and women should feel they can help themselves when there's no help from anyone else. Why should a woman feel threatened when out shopping or out walking the family dog. Or even just to the local shop. As it stands there is no legal item in this country that can be carried for the use of self protection again attacks from anyone and if anyone does carry any weapon your arrested for defending yourself with that said weapon. So I say let women use a defense spray without being arrested and let them feel safer. 

So I'm asking you to please change the law for women to be able to carry a spray for a form of Defense against any form of attack from anyone.
