Thank you for taking the time to sign my petition. I am really pleased to have reached 50 signatures!
It was Zarah Sultana that encouraged me to start this petition. I think Zarah is a fantastic public servant. She has found the time to engage with me and talk to me about issues as diverse as second jobs, rights for students and racism. This got me wondering, where has my own M.P. been for the past year or so?
I am also concerned about the nature of Sajid Javid's investments. I believe that he has invested in fossil fuels (in particular, oil). This is something that we should all be looking to move away from, in light of the current climate crisis.
If you could find the time to share my petition to any groups that you think may be relevant, that would be great. I will be looking to present this petition as soon as I have reached the required number of signatories.
